Program Description

The resource we are using is based on a program developed by Dr. Kelly D. Brownell, a professor at Yale University. The principles behind the program are based on scientific research and real weight loss case studies.
The reason we personally chose this program is because it is simple for participants to follow, and it teaches lifestyle change principles instead of dieting principles.
The program starts with maintenance because the ultimate goal of weight control is to maintain a healthy weight for the rest of your life.
The recommended program length is six weeks. Modifications can be made to make the program longer or shorter per request of the company. There are three one hour lectures at weeks one, two and 6. In between the one hour lectures at weeks three, four, five and six are four one hour weigh-in sessions. At the start of the second week, email contact is made to establish compliance, motivation and support. Phone and email contact are encourage and available throughout the entire six weeks. The program fees are based on the number of participants:
